কাম চৰাই এবিধ বনৰিয়া চৰাই অসমৰ বিল নদী ইত্যাদি আঞ্চলত যথেষ্ট পৰিমানে পোৱা গৈছিল। বৰ্তমান এই বিধ চৰাই সংখ্যা কমি আহিছে। স্থানীয় লোক সকলে চিকাৰ কৰা বাবে বিলুপ্তি ঘটিছে। কিন্তু বৰ্তমান শিক্ষিত যোৱক সকলে সংৰক্ষিত কৰিব বিচাৰিছে।
