Ans Sri Shankardev met Sri Madhavdev for the first time in a village of Majuli named Dhuwahata Belguri. The meeting was arranged by Ram Das, Madhavdev's brother-in-law.

Ans  This is called a historic meeting because young Madhav realized that animal sacrifice is not necessary to please gods and goddesses. He thereafter became a devotee of Srimanta Shankardev and adopted his religious faith. This marked a significant transformation in Madhavdev's spiritual journey.
