Close your eyes for a moment and visualise a gentle breeze blowing away the leaves of a tree into the air.

Now, answer the following questions:

Ans: 2. In the second stanza of the poem, all the leaves come down fluttering after hearing the loud call from the wind. They flow and dance over the brown fields, singing their soft little songs.

3. In the third stanza of the poem, the leaves bid farewell to their longtime friend cricket. They also ask the brook to sing its farewell song. They know that the brook is sad to part with them and it will miss them badly.

Ans. I have learnt that the Greater Adjutant Stork is a rare and endangered bird because its number is decreasing rapidly due to many reasons. It is a large bird that is now mainly found only in Cambodia and Assam. This bird lives in wetland areas and feeds on fish, frogs, snakes and other small creatures.
