1. Why was Arjuna Drona's favourite pupil?

 (অৰ্জুন কিয় দ্ৰোণৰ প্ৰিয় শিষ্য আছিল?) 

Ans: Arjuna was Drona's favourite pupil because he was best in many skills. Arjuna could fight with a mace, a sword, a lance or any other weapon. But the weapon he used best was a bow and arrow. He was such a skilled archer that there was no one to match him. No matter how difficult the target, his arrow would find it.

2. What happened when Drona took the Pandavas into the forest?

Ans: When Drona took the Pandavas into the forest to teach them how to hunt ,they saw many signs that they were not alone. There were arrows stuck fast on the trees as if someone had been practising archery.

Ans: When one of their dogs ran foreward barking loudly then swiftly through the air came seven shining arrows straight towards the dogs. Drona could see that they came from a great distance and with only the sound of the dog's barking to guide them to the royal party. They were arrows of a true warrior and this sight surprised Drona.

      He wondered who the unknown archer could be. So, Drona and his pupils set off in search of the person who could have shot the arrows.

Ans: Drona refused to accept Eklavya as a pupil saying that Eklavya wasn't a Kshatriya. Ekalavya made a clay image of Drona in the forest and since then, he had  practised with his bow and arrow. Thus he succeded in making Drona his teacher.
