A Journey Is In The Offing
1. Know the meanings of:
Trip: a journey for pleasure
ride: a journey
in the offing: to be possible
or so: approximately
won't be: will not be
too long: very long
indeed: really
test: to measure one's knowledge
2. Make sentences with-
তলৰ শব্দৰ সৈতে বাক্য বনাওক-
for a ride, visit, or so, just, in the offing.
Ans:
For a ride: We went for a ride in the new car yesterday.
Visit: We plan to visit the museum next weekend.
Or so: The meeting should last an hour or so.
Just: I just finished reading the book.
In the offing: The new project is in the offing, and everyone is excited about it.
3. Learn the use of-
ব্যৱহাৰ শিকিব-
everything, anything, something, nothing
Ans:
Everything: Everything was ready for the party.
Anything: Is there anything I can help you with?
Something: I need something to write with.
Nothing: There was nothing left in the box.
4. Complete the following sentences (with words given within brackets)

Ans:
a) The boy invited us to go with him.
