    1. Why did the dog feel the need for a master? (1, 2) 

        Ans-Because he was afraid of living alone on the earth, looking for food and getting afraid by those who were stronger than him, So the dog feel the need for a master.  


    2. Who did he first choose as his master? Why did he leave that master? (3) 

       Ans-Wolf was the first master. 

                          Because he thought the bear was more strong than the wolf.


    3. Who did he choose next? (5) 

        Ans-He choose the bear next.


    4. Why did he serve the Lion for a long time? (8)   

        Ans-Because the lion was the strongest on the forest there was no stronger beast in the forest than the lion. No one dared to touch the dog or offend him in any way.


    5. Who did he finally choose as his master and why? (9, 10)

         Ans-He finally choose a man as his master. 

                       Because man was the most loyal servant and knows no one other master.
