                                Topsy-turvy Land 

                             उलट-पुलट भूमि

 The people walk upon their heads, 

लोग सिर के बल चलते हैं,

The sea is made of sand, 

समुद्र रेत से बना है,

The children go to school by night,

बच्चे रात को स्कूल जाते हैं,

 In Topsy-turvy Land. 

उल्टी-सीधी भूमि में।

The front-door step is at the back, 

सामने का दरवाज़ा पीछे की ओर है,

You're walking when you stand,

जब आप खड़े होते हैं तो आप चल रहे होते हैं,

 You wear your hat upon your feet,

आप अपनी टोपी अपने पैरों पर पहनते हैं,

 In Topsy-turvy Land.

उल्टी-सीधी भूमि में।

 And buses on the sea you'll meet, 

और तुम्हें समुद्र पर बसें मिलेंगी,

While pleasure boats are planned, 

जबकि आनंद नौकाओं की योजना बनाई गई है,

To travel up and down the streets 

सड़कों पर ऊपर-नीचे यात्रा करने के लिए

Of Topsy-turvy Land.

उलटी-सीधी भूमि का।

 You pay for what you never get, 

आप उसके लिए भुगतान करते हैं जो आपको कभी नहीं मिलता,

I think it must be grand, 

मुझे लगता है यह भव्य होना चाहिए,

For when you go you're coming back,

क्योंकि जब तुम जाओगे तो वापस आओगे,

 In Topsy-turvy Land.
