2. What is the duration of the GNM course?

The GNM course duration is 3 years of academic study plus 6 months of compulsory internship, making it a total of 3.5 years.


3. Who is eligible for GNM Nursing in Assam?

Candidates who have passed 10+2 from any stream (Arts or Science) with a minimum of 40–45% marks are eligible. The minimum age is 17 years.


4. Is Science compulsory for GNM Nursing?

No, Science is not compulsory. Students from Arts background can also apply, although having Biology is an added advantage.
