1. Who were the Aryans and from where did they come to India?

আৰ্যসকল কোন আছিল আৰু ক’ৰ পৰা ভাৰতলৈ আহিছিল?

Answer:- The Aryans were a strong fighting people who drove the Dravidians.

 They came from Central Asia to India.

আৰ্যসকল আছিল এক শক্তিশালী যুঁজাৰু জনগোষ্ঠী যিয়ে দ্ৰাবিড়ক খেদিছিল।

মধ্য এছিয়াৰ পৰা ভাৰতলৈ আহিছিল।

2. How can we find out more about the Aryans?

আৰ্যসকলৰ বিষয়ে আমি কেনেকৈ জানিব পাৰিম?

Answer:- We can find out more about the Aryans from our old Sanskrit books. Such as Vedas,   Puranas, Ramayana, Mahabharata.

3.Write about the Vedas and how they were passed on to us.

বেদৰ বিষয়ে আৰু সেইবোৰ কেনেকৈ আমালৈ প্ৰেৰণ কৰা হ’ল সেই বিষয়ে লিখা।

Answer:- Vedas were the oldest book in the world. There are four Vedas and the first veda is   the Rig veda. At first Vedas were not written. It passed through orally generation to generation. The Vedas were written in Vedic period. Veda means knowledge.

বেদ আছিল পৃথিৱীৰ আটাইতকৈ পুৰণি গ্ৰন্থ। চাৰিখন বেদ আৰু প্ৰথম বেদ ঋগ বেদ। প্ৰথমতে বেদ লিখা হোৱা নাছিল। মৌখিকভাৱে ই প্ৰজন্মৰ পৰা প্ৰজন্মলৈ পাৰ হৈ গৈছিল। বেদসমূহ বৈদিক যুগত ৰচনা কৰা হৈছিল। বেদৰ অৰ্থ হৈছে জ্ঞান।

4. How did cow-worship begin?

কেনেকৈ আৰম্ভ হ’ল গো-পূজা?

Answer:-  The Aryans naturally attached a great value to agriculture. So, they valued everything that helped in agriculture. The bull and cow helped them very much in their agriculture and their daily lives, for the cow gave them milk which was valued very greatly. So, they adored cows   and sang in their praises. Long afterwards, forgetting the actual fact for the care of the cow, people started worshipping the cow.

আৰ্য্যসকলে স্বাভাৱিকতে কৃষিক এক বৃহৎ মূল্য প্ৰদান কৰিছিল। গতিকে, তেওঁলোকে কৃষিত সহায় কৰা সকলো বস্তুকে মূল্য দিছিল। ম’হ আৰু গৰুৱে তেওঁলোকৰ কৃষি আৰু দৈনন্দিন জীৱনত বহুত সহায় কৰিছিল, কাৰণ গাইয়ে তেওঁলোকক গাখীৰ দিছিল যাৰ মূল্য অতিশয় বেছি আছিল। গতিকে, তেওঁলোকে গৰু আৰাধনা কৰিছিল আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰশংসাত গান গাইছিল। বহুদিনৰ পাছত গৰুৰ যত্নৰ বাবে প্ৰকৃত সত্যটো পাহৰি মানুহে গৰুক পূজা কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।

5. What does the word ‘Aryan’ mean? Describe the characteristics of the Aryans.

‘আৰ্য’ শব্দটোৰ অৰ্থ কি? আৰ্যসকলৰ বৈশিষ্ট্য বৰ্ণনা কৰা।

Answer:-  The word ‘Aryan’ means a generation, a superior kind of person.

                             Some of the characteristics of the Aryans are mentioned in the below:-

i) They were a strong fighting people.

ii) They were very proud of themselves and their race.

iii) They loved freedom greatly.

‘আৰ্য্য’ শব্দৰ অৰ্থ হৈছে এটা প্ৰজন্ম, এক উচ্চ প্ৰকাৰৰ ব্যক্তি।

                              আৰ্যসকলৰ কিছুমান বৈশিষ্ট্য তলত উল্লেখ কৰা হৈছে:-

i) তেওঁলোক আছিল এক শক্তিশালী যুঁজাৰু জনগোষ্ঠী।

ii) তেওঁলোকে নিজকে আৰু নিজৰ জাতিটোৰ বাবে অতি গৌৰৱ কৰিছিল।

iii) তেওঁলোকে স্বাধীনতাক বহুত ভাল পাইছিল।

6. What rules of life did the Aryans keep, which have developed into an unhealthy system today?

আৰ্য্যসকলে জীৱনৰ কি কি নিয়ম পালন কৰিছিল, যিবোৰ আজি এক অস্বাস্থ্যকৰ ব্যৱস্থালৈ বিকশিত হৈছে?

Answer:- The Aryans, being very proud of themselves were afraid of getting mixed up with other inhabitants of India. So, they made their own rules and regulations to prevent this mixture, so that Aryans could not marry others. Long afterwards, this system developed into Caste system.

আৰ্যসকলে নিজকে অতি গৌৰৱান্বিত হোৱাৰ বাবে ভাৰতৰ আন বাসিন্দাসকলৰ লগত মিহলি হ’বলৈ ভয় কৰিছিল। গতিকে, এই মিশ্ৰণ ৰোধ কৰিবলৈ তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ নিজৰ নিয়ম-নীতি তৈয়াৰ কৰিলে, যাতে আৰ্যসকলে আনক বিয়া কৰাব নোৱাৰে। বহুদিনৰ পাছত এই ব্যৱস্থাটো জাতি ব্যৱস্থালৈ বিকশিত হয়।

 এয়াৰহ’ষ্টেছে যাত্ৰীসকলক ক’লে, “ ছিটবেল্ট বান্ধি আসন পোন কৰক।”

Answer:- The airhostess appealed to passengers to fasten their seat belts and straighten their seat.

এয়াৰহোষ্টেছে যাত্ৰীসকলক ছিটবেল্ট বান্ধি আসন পোন কৰিবলৈ আহ্বান জনায়।

c) The geography teacher said, “ The Anders Range is in South America.”
