Ans:- The meaning of Panchayat is a system of governance by five elderly men called Panch Gramin Pramukh.

Ans:- Now a days, anyone who is above twenty one can contest Panchayat elections. Panchayat  means a body that is responsible for the development of villages, The Panchayat is a very important institution for social change. The constitution of India grants power to the Panchayat to raise taxes, plan development schemes and work for local development.

 

    ( বৰ্তমান সময়ত ২১ বছৰ ঊৰ্ধ্বৰ যিকোনো লোকে পঞ্চায়ত নিৰ্বাচনত অংশগ্ৰহণ কৰিব পাৰে। পঞ্চায়ত হৈছে গ্ৰামোন্নয়ন প্ৰতি দায়বদ্ধ এক অনুষ্ঠান। ই সামাজিক পৰিৱৰ্তন গুৰুত্ব দিয়ে। ভাৰতীয় সংবিধানে পঞ্চায়তক ৰাজহ সংগ্ৰহ তথা বিভিন্ন উন্নয়নমূলক আঁচনি গ্ৰহণৰ দৰে বিশেষ ক্ষমতা প্ৰদান কৰে।

c. What kind of work is done by the Panchayat?

Ans:- Panchayat works for the development of village build and repair rural roads, houses for the poor and so on.

    ( পঞ্চায়তে গ্ৰাম্য উন্নয়ন, ৰাস্তা পদূলি নিৰ্মাণ তথা মেৰামতি, গৃহ নিৰ্মাণ আদি কাম কৰে। )

d. From where does the panchayat get money to perform all its work?

Ans:-  To perform all its work the Panchayat raises money from taxes on vehicles, river ghats, bazaars and beels etc. Panchayat also get on annual grant from the Panchayat and Rural Development of the Government.

           Panchayat is a system of five elderly members of government who are known as Panch Gramin Pramukh.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               ( পঞ্চায়ত হৈছে পাঁচজন চৰকাৰী জেষ্ঠ ব্যক্তিৰে (যাক সাধাৰণ মানুহে নিৰ্বাচন কৰি দিয়ে ) গঠিত এক সমিতি )

Powers of a Panchayat: (পঞ্চায়তৰ ক্ষমতা )

               The Indian Constitution grants power the Panchayat to raise taxes, plan development schemes and work for local development.

        ভাৰতবৰ্ষৰ সংবিধানে পঞ্চায়তসমূহক এক বিশেষ অধিকাৰ প্ৰদান কৰিছে যাতে তেওঁলোকে ৰাজহ সংগ্ৰহ, গ্ৰাম্য উন্নয়নৰ বিভিন্ন আঁচনি আদি ল'ব পাৰে। )

                    Panchayat works for the development of village, social change, build and repair rural roads, bridges, houses for poor.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             ( পঞ্চায়ত কাৰ্যালয়ে গাঁও, সমাজৰ পৰিৱৰ্তন তথা গাঁৱৰ সামাজিক উন্নয়ন তথা বিকাশৰ বাবে কাম কৰাৰ উপৰিও গাঁৱৰ ৰাস্তা ঘাট নিৰ্মাণ আদি কাম কৰে।

         The Panchayat raises a little money from taxes on vehicles, rivers ghats, bazaars and beels etc. They also get on annual grant from the Panchayat and Rural Development Department of the Government.

b. She said to have father, "Where do you get all the money from? "

   তাই দেউতাকক কৈছিল, "তুমি পইচাবোৰ ক'ত পোৱা?"

Ans:- She asked her father from where she get all the money.

       ( তাই দেউতাকক সুধিছিল যে তেখেতে পইচাবোৰ ক'ত পাই। )

C. She said to her father, "Is that enough to do so much work?"

    ( তাই দেউতাকক কৈছিল,"সিমান কাম কৰাটো যথেষ্ট নে? )

Ans:- She asked her father whether that to much work was enough to do.

 ( তাই দেউতাকক সুধিছিল যে সিমানখিনি কাম কৰাটো যথেষ্ট নে।)
