a) What happened one day while Louis Pasteur was playing with his friends?

Answer:- He saw a man was running towards him and the man was very frightened. They said the news to Louis that someone had been bitten by a mad wolf from the mountain. Louis knew that the wolf was suffering from rabies.

Answer:- Rabies is a viral disease that causes inflammation of the brain in humans and other mammals.

Answer:- He treated the ailing rabbits by injecting them with the same virus and succeeded in curing them.

Answer:- In 1888, the French government founded the Pasteur Institute in Paris. It is famous for the study of biology, micro-organisms, disease and vaccines.

    c) Pushpa:- Rubella infection can lead to children born with congenital birth defects as           blindness, deafness, mental retardation, congenital heart defects.

    গ) পুষ্প:- ৰুবেলা সংক্ৰমণৰ ফলত জন্মগত জন্মগত বিসংগতি যেনে অন্ধতা, বধিৰতা,         মানসিক বিকলাংগতা, জন্মগত হৃদযন্ত্ৰৰ বিসংগতি আদিৰে জন্ম হোৱা শিশুৰ সৃষ্টি হ’ব           পাৰে।

    d) Jumon:- The Anopheles mosquito is a carrier of Malaria.

7. (c) Let's see how much you have understood. Complete these sentences using the simple past or the past continuous forms of the verbs brackets.
