8. Explain with reference to the context.

(āĻŦাāĻ–্āϝা āϕ⧰া)

"Upon his brow he felt their breath,

And in his waving hair;

 And looked from that lone post of death,

  In still, yet brave despair."

Ans: The above stanza is extracted from the poem named "Casabianca" written by poet Felicia Heman.

In this stanza the poet is describing the bravery of Casabianca in the time of the massive fire that caught the ship.

Casabianca was a little boy who was standing in the burning deck of the ship waiting for his father's words. He was committed towards the work given to him and would not move until his father order. He was asking his father whether he could move but the father, who was fainted did not answered Casabianca, being a brave boy did not get away from the place though he felt the warm wind of the flames upon his brow. The situation of the ship was getting dangerous. His hair was waving by the high flames that was approaching him. Instead of his father, the fire flames replied as it grew massive. The fire almost caught the little boy  but still one more time he asked his father to reply. His body was slowly on the verge of getting burnt but he held up his brave heart till the last.
