Write a story
with the help of the following outline and give a suitable title to it.
1. Outline
: Old man ... grey hair and beard ... wore turban ... dyed
beard ... attended a party ... turban fell of ... friends laughed and said
'grey hair and dark beard' ... 'hair older than beard' the old man said.
2. Outline : A hungry
fox ... sees a crow with a piece ... of meat ... wishes to have the piece ...
praises the the crow ... asks the crow to sing ... the crow sings ... the piece
falls down ... the fox picks it up and walks away.
3. Outline : A young man
applies for a post ... is told 'no vacancy' ... he notices a pin lying near the
door ... picks it up ... proves to be highly careful ... he gets a job.
4. Outline : Twelve fools
start on al journey ... cross a river ... count themselves ... each, not
counting himself ... counts eleven ... a passerby agrees to produce the lost
man ... gives each fool a blow ... counts twelve.
5. Outline : Rainy weather
... the wheels of a loaded cart sinks into the mud ... the carter whips the
bullocks in vain ... prays to God for help ... God comes disguised ... asks the
carter to put his shoulder to a wheel ... cart is freed.
6. Outline : A railway
bridge gives away during heavy rain ... a train approaching ... a boy sees the
train ... stands on the track ... ignores the warning whistles ... waves his
shirt ... pre vents the accident ... rewarded for his bravery.
7. Outline : An
English soldier taken prisoner by Napoleon's forces ... escaped from prison ...
tried to cross the English channel in a cask ... captured again and taken to
Napoleon ... was asked the reason for escaping and risking his life ...
"To see my old and sick mother" was the reply ... Napoleon was moved
... set him free.
8. Outline : A rickshaw ...puller
returns home at night ... finds a purse in his rickshaw ... opens it ... a lot
of money and card with owner's name ... immediately returns it ... offered a
reward ...rickshaw ... puller declines saying ... "I have only done my
duty."
9. Outline : A speedy car
hits an old man and escapes ... man injured badly ... people collect on the
spot ... only show sympathy ... lectures on rash driving ... no one comes
forward to help ... two school ... boys arrive ... see the plight of the old
man ... take him to hospital.
10. Outline : Over ...
crowded bus ... many passengers standing ... bus moves in high speed ... takes
a sharp turn ... old lady loses balance ... a young boy helps ... offers his
seat to the lady.
11. Outline : poor
cobbler lives happily ... works hard and sings ... rich neighbour unhappy ...
envies the cobbler ... gives the cobbler a bag of gold ... now the cobbler
loses sleep ... returns the gold ... becomes happy again ... moral.
12. Outline : A fox falls
into a well ... cannot get out ... a goat comes that way ... the fox praises
the sweetness of the water ... invites the goat to come down and taste it ...
foolish goat jumps down ... the fox leap upon the goat's head ... jumps out ...
the goat remains behind to die ... moral.
13. Outline : On my way to
school ... suddenly I the screech of tyres ... a bus hit an autorickshaw ...-
informed the police ... the police arrived ... the ambulance arrived ...
the crowd dispersed.
14. Outline : A house
catches fire ... People try to put out the fire with buckets of water, sand
etc. ... they fail ... fire spreads ... a small I boy runs to his friend who
has a mobile phone ... Fire Brigade arrives ... the fire is put out ... people
praise the boy's presence of mind.
15. Outline : A king
distressed ... his people lazy ... wanted to teach them a lesson ... put a big
stone in the middle of the road ... people went around the stone, blamed the
government for not removing it ... king had it removed ... beneath it was an
iron box marked "For the man who removes the stone" ... inside a
purse full of money ... the people were ashamed.
16. Outline : A slave runs
away from his master ... sees a lion crying in pain ... slave takes out the
thorn from the lion's paw ... a few months later the salve is caught ...
ordered to be thrown before a hungry lion ... the lion rushes at him ... licks
his hand ... remembers kindness ... the lion and the slave both set free.
17. Outline : The lion, king
of beasts ... kills many animals ... all animals terrified ... hold a meeting ...
decide to send one animal to the lion everyday ... lion agrees ... the turn of
the hare ... arrives late ... tells there is no another lion sees his
reflection ... thinks there is another lion in the forest ... wanted to seized
and kill him ... hare takes the lion to a deep well ... the lion sees his
reflection ... thinks there is another lion in the well ... jumps in.
18. Outline : A car hits an
old man and escapes ... he is injured badly ... crowd gather on the spot ...
only show sympathy ... they speak about the evil of rash driving ... nobody
comes forward to help the injured man ... two school boys arrive ... feel sorry
for the old man ... take him to hospital.

: A speedy car hit an old man ... escaped ... the man ... was
injured grievously ... people gathered ... showed sympathy to the man ... spoke
about the evils of rash driving ... no one bothered to help the man ... two
schoolboys arrive ... took the injured to the nearest hospital.
