  रोना

Crying only a little bit

बस थोड़ा सा रो रहा हूँ

 is no use. You must cry

कोई उपयोग नहीं है. तुम्हें रोना ही पड़ेगा

 until your pillow is soaked!

जब तक आपका तकिया भीग न जाए!

 Then you can jump in the shower 

फिर आप शॉवर में कूद सकते हैं

and splash-splash-splash!

और छप-छप-छप!

Then you can throw open

फिर आप खुला फेंक सकते हैं

your window

आपकी खिड़की

and, “Ha, ha! ha ha!”

और, “हा, हा! हा हा!”

And if people say, “Hey,

और अगर लोग कहते हैं, "अरे,

what's going on up there?”

वहाँ ऊपर क्या हो रहा है?”

“Ha ha!” sing back, “Happiness

"हा हा!" वापस गाओ, “ख़ुशी

was hiding in the last tear!

आखिरी आंसू में छुपा था!

I wept it! Ha ha!”

मैंने इसे रोया! हा हा!”
