Eligibility Criteria for CISF Recruitment

Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualification:

Skilled Trades: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board (for Barber, Boot Maker/Cobbler, Tailor, Cook, Carpenter, Mali, Painter, Charge Mechanic, Washer Man, Welder, Electrician, and Motor Pump Attendant). Industrial Training Institute (ITI) trained personnel will be preferred.

Unskilled Trades: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board (for Sweeper).

Age Limit:

Candidate age must be between 18 to 23 years as on 01/08/2025 (Born between 02/08/2002 and 01/08/2007).

Age Relaxation:


SC/ST: 5 years

OBC: 3 years
