Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India has released an employment notification CEN No. 01/2025 for the recruitment of 9970 Assistant Loco Pilot Posts in various RRBs. The online application process for RRB ALP Vacancy 2025 will be started from 12th April 2025 to 11th May 2025.

Pay scale: Level 02 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs. 19900/- plus other allowances.
Eligibility Criteria of RRB ALP Recruitment
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as on 01/07/2025
Age Relaxation:
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from NCVT/SCVT recognized institutes in relevant trades OR
- Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in mentioned trades OR
- 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering OR
- Combination of various streams of Engineering disciplines OR
- Degree in above disciplines is also acceptable in lieu of diploma
RRB ALP Physical and Medical Standard
Medical Standard: A1
Physical Standard: Physically Fit in All Standards
Vision Standard:
- Distant Vision: 6/6, 6/6 without glasses
- Near Vision: Sn 0.6, 0.6 without glasses
- Must pass test for Color Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision etc.
