The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 23 Non-Teaching Posts. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here.
Post-wise Vacancy Details
1. Registrar – 1 post
Educational Qualification: Master's degree with at least 55% Marks or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale from a recognized University/Institute.
2. Librarian – 1 post
Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with CGPA of 6.5 in 10-point scale or at least 60% marks or equivalent grade.
3. Assistant Registrar – 1 post
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the CGPA/UGC point scale with good academic record from a recognized University/Institute.
4. Hindi Officer – 1 post
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject.
5. Superintendent – 1 post
Educational Qualification: First Class Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute.
6. Junior Hindi Translator – 1 post
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject.
7. Senior Technician – 1+2 posts
Educational Qualification: Senior secondary (10+2) with Science or ITI Certificate in appropriate trade.
8. Technician – 4 posts
Educational Qualification: Senior secondary (10+2) with Science or ITI Certificate in appropriate trade.
9. Junior Assistant – 3+4 posts
Educational Qualification: Senior secondary (10+2) with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spreadsheet.
10. Senior Assistant – 3 posts
Educational Qualification: Senior secondary (10+2) with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spreadsheet.
