 The Ball poem 

*Summary :

                  The poem is a story of a boy  who has lost his ball, once he was playing with his ball. The ball skipped into his hand and went into the nearby water body. The poet become surprised by looking at the boy's reaction after loosing his ball. Further the poet says the young boy was staring at the water helplessly where his ball had gone. He was sad and was tumbling with fear. He got so immersed in his sorrow that he kept standing near the harbour for a very long time by looking for his ball. The poet says that he could console him that he may get a new ball or he could also give him some money to buy another ball. But the poet didn’t do it because money or new ball could not bring back the memories that he had with the ball. Here the boy get a chance to learn a lesson for life that nothing is permanent and this is the harsh reality. Everyone will lose their loved ones and loved things.

মূলভাৱ  : কবিতাটোৰ  কাহিনী  এটা  বল  হেৰুওৱা  ল’ৰাৰ  বিষয়ে । এদিন  সি  বলটোৰ  লগত  খেলি  আছিল । খেলি  থাকোঁতে  বলটো  তাৰ  হাতৰ  পৰা  সৰি  পৰি  ওচৰতে  থকা  পানীৰ  জানটোত  পৰিলগৈ । বলটো  হেৰুওৱাৰ  পিছত  ল’ৰাটোৰ  দুখ  কৰি  থকা  মূখখন  দেখি  কবি  আচৰিত ‌ হৈ পৰিছিল । কবিয়ে  কৈছে  ল’ৰাটোৱে  বলটো  হেৰুওৱাৰ পিছত  বলটোৰ  ফালে  থৰ  লাগি  চাই  আছিল । সি  যথেষ্ট ভয়  খাইছিল । সি  মনৰ  দুখতে  দিনটোৰ  বেছিভাগ  সময় জানটোৰ  ফালে  চাই  পাৰ  কৰিছিল । কবিয়ে  তাক  নতুন  বল  এটা  কিনি  দিয়াৰ  কথা  কৈ  মনটো  ভাল  লগাব  পাৰিলে  হয় , কিন্তু  কবিয়ে  সেই  কাম  নকৰিলে  কাৰণ পইচা বা  নতুন  বলটোৱে  ল’ৰাটোৰ  পুৰণি  স্মৃতিসমূহ  ঘূৰাই  আনিব  নোৱাৰে । ল’ৰাটোৱে  ইয়াৰ  জৰিয়তে  এক  নতুন  শিক্ষা  লাভ  কৰাৰ  সুযোগ  পালে যে এইখন  পৃথিৱীত  কোনো  বস্তুৱে  স্থায়ী  নহয় , সকলোবোৰ  বস্তু  ক্ষণস্থায়ী , মানুহে  নিজৰ  প্ৰিয়  ব্যক্তি  বা  প্ৰিয়  বস্তুটোক  নিজৰ  লগত  চিৰদিনৰ  বাবে  ৰাখিব  নোৱাৰে।
