Answer:- Wanda is very different from the rest of the class. She have an uncommon little petroski which is hard to find among Americans. Also she belongs to a poor family who live in place far from the town. She does not have many dresses like other children of her class .

8. Why did not maddie ask peggy to stop teasing Wanda ? What was she afraid of ?

Answer:- Peggy was most popular girl in the school. She was nice girl but in case of Wanda she behaved very roughly. Therefore Maddie never ask Peggie to stop teasing Wanda . She was afraid of being the next target of such taunts and teasing .

Answer:- Wanda is very different from the other girl of her class . She has very different title with poor family background. She always wear the same dress and comes from muddy place call Boggins Heights .
The children of Wanda's class used to make fun of her poor status . They tease and taunt her for the faded dress that she wear . The laugh at her because of her title and the place in which she lived .

The line Peggy was the best liked girl in the whole room. Peggy could not possibly do anything that was really wrong

Answer:- Miss Mason is very impressed with Wanda's drawings. She considers damn really beautiful and worthy of winning individually. The children are also impressed by the drawing skills of Wanda that they applied and whistle when she wins among the girls .
