It was a Saturday. Sri Barua and Srimati Barua went to Shankardev Shishu Niketan. They were in front of the Pradhan Acharya's room.

শনিবাৰ আছিল। শংকৰদেৱ শিশু নিকেতনলৈ গৈছিল শ্ৰী বৰুৱা আৰু শ্ৰী মতী বৰুৱা। প্ৰধান আচাৰ্যৰ কোঠাৰ সন্মুখত আছিল দুয়ো।

Sri Baruah:  May we come in Sir?

শ্ৰী বৰুৱা: আমি সোমাব পাৰোনে ছাৰ?

Pradhan Acharya: Yes, please come in and take your seats. How can I help you?

প্ৰধান আচাৰ্য: হয়, প্লিজ সোমাই আহি আপোনালোকৰ আসন গ্ৰহণ কৰক। মই আপোনাক কেনেকৈ সহায় কৰিম?

Sri Barua: I am Deben Barua. She is my wife, Bhanu.

শ্ৰী বৰুৱা: মই দেবেন বৰুৱা। তাই  মোৰ পত্নী ভানু।

Pradhan Acharya: What do you do? Where do you stay?

Sri Barua: I am a businessman. We live at Manik Nagar.

শ্ৰী বৰুৱা: মই এজন ব্যৱসায়ী। আমি মাণিক নগৰত থাকো।

Srimati Barua: I am a housewife. Papori is our daugheter. She reads in this School. We have come to talk about her.

শ্ৰীমতী বৰুৱা: মই এগৰাকী গৃহিণী। পাপৰি আমাৰ ছোৱালী। তাই এই স্কুলত পঢ়ে। আমি তাইৰ কথা পাতিবলৈ আহিছোঁ।

Pradhan Acharya: Oh. Papori is a nice girl. I know her. She reads in class three. She always completes her homework.

প্ৰধান আচাৰ্য: অ’। পাপৰি ধুনীয়া ছোৱালী। মই তাইক চিনি পাওঁ। তাই ক্লাছ থ্ৰীত পঢ়ে। তাই সদায় হোমৱৰ্ক সম্পূৰ্ণ কৰে।

Sri Barua: But is she doing well? Is she friendly with her classmates? We want to know.

Pradhan Acharya: Papori is learning the lessons well. She has some good friends. They attend the music class too. They work in the garden on Saturdays. They are very active.

Sri Baruah: Please look after her, Sir. She is very simple.

শ্ৰী বৰুৱা: তাইক চাবচোন ছাৰ। তাই বৰ সহজ-সৰল।

Pradhan Acharya: Don't worry. I will see. I am glad to meet you. Parents should come to the school sometimes. It is good for their children.

প্ৰধান আচাৰ্য : চিন্তা নকৰিবা। মই চাম। আপোনালোকক লগ পাই আনন্দিত হৈছো। অভিভাৱক সকলে কেতিয়াবা বিদ্যালয়লৈ আহিব লাগে। তেওঁলোকৰ সন্তানৰ বাবে ই ভাল।
