Space suits are msde of specially adapted msn-made materials-for example, urethane-coapted nylon. Designing a space suit is a complex procedure as the space suit needs to give the astronaut complte control and protection. In fact, it needs to act like a miniature spacecraft. It provides everything that an astronaut requires to survive for for short periods in space, including oxygen to breathe, water to drink, heathing and cooling devices, communication apparatus, and toilet facilities. These suits have been developed to withstand the extreme conditions of space.
