1. Where did the lion live?

Ans: A lion lived in a forest.

2. What happened to the lion one day? 

Ans: One day the lion got caught in a big trap.

3. How did the mouse come to know that the lion was in trouble?

Ans: Hearing the lion's roar, the mouse came to know that the lion is in trouble.

4. The lion had a doubt about the mouse's ability to help him. Why? 

Ans: Since the mouse was very small, seeing that small creature, the lion doubted that the mouse would be able to help him.

5. How did the mouse free the lion?

Ans: Within half an hour, the rat cut the strong ropes of the net with sharp teeth and freed the lion from the net.

6. What did the lion say?

Ans: The lion thanked the mouse and was very happy to be free.
