Ans: The vagabond would linger in the field when autumn falls.


(d) How does the poet describe a field in autumn?


Ans: The field is covered with white frost in autumn. The poet compares the frosty field with white meal.


(e) Why does the poet repeat the second stanza once again?


Ans: In the second stanza, the poet describes the philosophy of life of a vagabond. To emphasize his desires, the poet repeats the second stanza once again.
