Answer: There are four characters in the narrative. They are Jerome the narrator, George Harris and the dog named Montmorency.

2. Why did the narrator (Jerome) volunteer to do the packing?

Answer: The narrator felt that he was best in doing packing thus he took pride in himself for his packing thus he took pride in himself for his packing skill. That is why the narrator (Jerome ) volunteered to do the packing.

Answer: Jerome had to a lot effort to find his toothbrush. because he had packed everything. After unpacked the bag, he started putting things back one by one, and held everything up and shook it. Finally he found the tooth brush inside a boot.

Answer: George and Harris offered to pack the hampers because it was getting late and they thought that they should do the rest of the packing. They also wanted to show off their packing skill to Jerome.

Answer: According to Jerome, Montmorency's ambition in life is to interfere with others and be obese. He is a mischievous little dag who louses creating troubles for others. His highest aim and abject was to get somebody to stumble over him and curse him steadily for an hour.
Montmorency is barn with silly characteristics makes him to do mischievous behavior.
জেরেমির মতে, মন্টমোরেন্সির জীবনের লক্ষ্য হল অন্যদের কাজে হস্তক্ষেপ করা এবং অন্যদের অভিশাপ দেওয়া। সে একটা দুষ্টু কুকুর যে অন্যদের সমস্যায় ফেলতে পছন্দ করে। তার মূল লক্ষ্য হলো কেউ যেন তার উপর হোঁচট খায় এবং সে দীর্ঘ সময় ধরে সেই ব্যক্তিকে অভিশাপ দিতে পারে।
মন্টমোরেন্সি একটি ছোট কুকুর যে ঝামেলা করতে পছন্দ করে।

Answer: Of the three Jerome is the best packer because he knew to arrange the things in order. Though he often forgets to pack certain things as gets confused. he Knauss what to keep first and what to keep last. On the other hand, Harris and George create a mess all around. Harris packs the strawberry jam on tap of a tomato and smashes it. George treads on the butter. He gets it off from his flipper and puts it in the kettle. He puts it down on a chai's and Harris Be abused, dog who loves, object, born, he knows, they look for it all over the . It sticks to him and then they look for it all aues the room. In this way they make everything such a mess.

2. How did Montmorency contribute to the packing ?

Answer: Montmorency's contribution to the packing made the tsk mare tiresome and messy. Montmorency wanted to be a perfect nuisance and make others mad. He came sat down on things, Just when they were about to be packed. He put his leg into the jam and warried the teaspoons. He also pretended that the lemons were rats. So he got into the hamper and killed three of them. Harris blamed Jerome for encouraging the dog. However Jerome said that a dog like Montmorency did not require any encouragement . It was a natural and argininal sin that was born in him which made him do things like that.
মন্টমোরেন্সি যখন কাজ শেষ করত তখন অনেক ঝামেলা করত। সে ঝামেলা তৈরিতে পারদর্শী ছিল, আর তার কাজগুলো সবাইকে বিরক্ত করত। জিনিসপত্র ব্যাগে রাখা হলে, সে এসে তার উপর বসল। সে জ্যামের বোতলে পা রাখল এবং চামচটি হারিয়ে ফেলল। সে ভেবেছিল লেবুগুলো ইঁদুর। তাই সে বাসকোর ভেতরে তাদের হত্যা করতে গেল। জেরেমি অভিযোগ করেছিলেন যে জেরেমি মন্টমোরেন্সিকে এই কাজগুলি করতে উৎসাহিত করেছিলেন। জেরেমি বললেন, তার মতো কুকুরের জন্য প্রায় কোনও উৎসাহ ছিল না। সে এমন কিছু বৈশিষ্ট্য নিয়ে জন্মগ্রহণ করে যার কারণে সে এই সমস্যাগুলো সৃষ্টি করে।

Answer: Yes the story is full of fun and humor. The events occurred during the packing scene, Jerome's incident of forgetting to pack few things, unpacking the bag for several times, then the way Harris and George make a mess with the packing task and finally hove Montmorency comes to make the situation even more chaotic, all these things make the story funny and interesting.
