Ans: On the 16th of June, 1730, Gulliver and his crew discovered land. The captain sent a dozen men with vessels to find water. However, when they landed, they found no river, spring, or inhabitants. The country was barren and rocky.

Ans: Gulliver went on to explore the land, but when he tried to join the crew, he saw them getting into a boat and rowing away in fear, trying to reach the ship.
