Chapter 17

 Forest: Our lifeline

Exercise:

1) Explain why forest-dwelling animals contribute to the growth and regeneration of forest areas.

Ans: - Forests help animals to grow and regenerate in different ways. They were eating different kinds of bugs and insects like animal faeces and after that they were eating grasshoppers. These plants are herbaceous and shrubby. Animal burrows help to regenerate some plants by spreading and regenerating the forest. Mulching with rotting animal dung also helps in nutrient retention.

2) To explain forest procurement by preventing deforestation.

Ans: - Forests are also natural absorbers of rain water and this is done by permeating the soil. All year round, groundwater helps to maintain the water table. Forests are not the only ones that help control deforestation. It helps to keep the flow of water uninterrupted so that I get water regularly. On the other hand, if the trees are not planted, the leaves of the rainy season will fall on the ground and if water is created around the area, it can destroy the soil in too many years. Plants usually hold the soil tightly, but may wash away the soil in the morning or become a drinker.

3) What is the separator? Write the names of the two divisors. What does the forest do?

Ans: - The micro-organisms of the water turn into decaying plants and animal humus, and it becomes a pollinator.

The names of the two types of bacteria are fungi and bacteria.

It plays a special role especially among investors. This compost creates humus and the presence of humus ensures that dead plants and animals are fertilized with nutrients in the soil. After the soil, these nutrients are reabsorbed by the living plant cells. "However, if it is the death of an animal, then the dead animal is eaten by shaguns, cowries, moths, and moths. These nutrients move in a cycle. There is no such thing as a waste of energy.

4) Explain the role of forests in maintaining the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Answer:  Plants use carbon dioxide to make food. By adding oxygen to plants through the process of photosynthesis. Plants help animals by supplying them with oxygen for respiration. It also keeps the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

5) It is not a waste of material to write without understanding.

Answer:-    "But if it is the death of the animal, then the dead animal is eaten by shaguns, cowries, moths, and moths and the remaining parts fall to the ground. These feeding bodies move in a cycle. There is no sense of movement. Material is not wasted.

6) Write the names of five types of products produced by forest materials.

Ans:- The names of the five products  produced from forest materials are - glue, oil, machala, diachlai kathi, paper.

7) Filling in the blanks –

(a) Moths, wasps, bees and foragers  help   in the reproduction of  flowering plants.

(b) Forests are  air  and   soil  purifiers.

(c)  The lower  layer of forest  consists of thickets and thickets.

(d) Rotting leaves and animal droppings increase forest  nutrients .

8) Why am I worried about the condition of forest people and their problems?

Answer: FOR STUDENT

9) Write the necessary understanding of different types of animals and plants in the forest.

Ans:-  Forests require different species of animals and plants because they are dependent on these sites. As if there is no tree, man can't survive because through trees we get oxygen and also through trees we get carbon-dioxide which helps us to prepare our food. Whether they are herbivores or carnivores, all animals depend on plants for food. The host eats the plant, then eats the other host and the process continues. For example - moths eat grass, moths eat insects. Vekulik eats snakes.

10) In Figure 17.15, the artist marked the various objects in the picture and gave the direction of the line marks. Identify the following items by the direction of the black mark.

Clouds, Rain, Atmosphere, Carbon Dioxide, Oxygen, Plants, Animals, Soil, Roots, Ground Water

11) Are any of the following forest products?

(a) Glue (b) Plywood (c) La d)  Keratin

Answer:   - d)  Karachi

12) Which of the following statements is not true?

(A) Forests prevent soil erosion.

(b) Forest flora and fauna are not dependent on it.

(c) Forests influence climate and water cycle.

(d) Helps in growth and regeneration of forest cover.

Ans:   - (b)  The plants and animals of the forest are not completely dependent on it.

               (c)  Forests influence climate and water cycle.

13) Materials produced by organisms acting on dead plants are-

a) sand, b) woody c) humus, d)  wood

Answer:   - c)  humus
