(a) Some notable recommendations to overcome the difficulties of human resource development.

Answer: Today, despite various facilities provided by the government, many children drop out of school halfway or do not pursue higher education ǀ children are easily misled due to lack of awareness among parents ǀ so it is essential to raise awareness among parents Therefore, proper measures should be taken to ensure that only the real beneficiaries receive the various schemes taken by the government ǀ often the economically strong people of the society are accused of misappropriating the aid for the poor ǀ Complications have decreased somewhat ǀ yet today people still prefer traditional medicine for many diseases ǀ such as jaundice, tuberculosis ǀ many people go to doctors instead of going to hospital for treatment in case of snake bites ǀ we are responsible for these problems ǀ radio, TV or newspapers We ignore the advertisements published ǀwhich makes us educated but uneducated ǀ we, should abandon such attitudes ǀ only then will we truly benefit from the facilities provided by our government ǀ

(b) The role of the Government in human resource development.

Answer: Human resource development requires better education, health and municipal facilities ǀ these facilities are available even in remote and inaccessible areas under the auspices of the government

Various government schemes (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, National Education Mission Mission etc.) are trying to make education universal and eradicate illiteracy. Free compulsory education is provided to all children aged 6 to 14 years. There is no gender discrimination in education today.Vocational education is given more priority than before.


The health sector has become a basic need of the people nowadays. ǀ Government has established various hospitals and medical colleges at local, state or central levels to improve health services Efforts have been made to provide medical services to people


Municipal facilities include various employment schemes sponsored by the government, loans for self-reliance, vocational training etc. ǀ these facilities provide new opportunities for self-reliance and employment


(c) The relationship between poverty and human resource development.

Answer: Poverty is one of the obstacles to human resource development. Poverty has prevented a considerable number of people in our country from becoming physically and mentally strong. For physical and mental development we need nutritious food and proper education ,the lack of which has been plaguing the poor people of our country. As a result, they lose their self-esteem, believe in fate and lose the mentality to elevate themselves from that situation.

(e) How does illiteracy hinder human resource development?

Answer: Illiteracy is a great curse for human society. About 26 per cent of the population in our country is illiterate. Illiteracy hinders the development of knowledge, competence, skills, technical skills etc. and is an obstacle to human resource development. Illiterate people are very easily victims of various forms of exploitation which leads to socio-economic inequality in the society.

(e) How do superstitions and superstitions affect the development of human resources?

Answer: Illiteracy is a great curse for human society. About 26 per cent of the population of our country is illiterate. Illiteracy hinders the development of knowledge, competence, skills, technical skills etc. and is an obstacle to human resource development. For example, most of the workers in our tea estates in Assam are illiterate. It is seen that the resident workers in the tea estates are backward in all respects. Being illiterate, they are easily victims of various forms of exploitation which leads to socio-economic inequality in the society.
