6. Read this paragraph written by Pooja. It describes what she saw one evening:

One evening I was looking at the sky. It was seven o'clock in the evening. The moon was shining brightly. It looked like a bright lamp in the sky. I saw some stars too. Suddenly a shooting star flashed by.

In this picture, I saw a flying Aeroplan in the sky and also a flying helicopter. The Sun was shining brighter. The birds are flying. Clouds and rainbow are also seen in the sky.

The Wolf and the Lamb

কুকুৰনেচীয়া বাঘ আৰু ভেড়া পোৱালি

        Once upon a time, there lived a wolf in a thick forest near a stream. Sheep, goats and cows from a village nearby came to the stream to drink water. 

এসময়ত এটা নৈৰ ওচৰৰ এখন ডাঠ হাবিত এটা পহু বাস কৰিছিল। ওচৰৰ এখন গাঁৱৰ ভেড়া, ছাগলী, গৰু পানী খাবলৈ আহিছিল নৈখনলৈ।

        The wolf was a lazy and cunning animal. One hot day he was thirsty and so he came to the stream to drink water. He looked down and saw a lamb drinking water from the stream. He was happy and wanted to eat the lamb. 

        A wicked idea came to his mind. He tried to make the lamb frightened. He shouted at the lamb, "You foolish lamb, why are you making the water dirty? Can't you drink without your legs in the water?" The lamb looked up and saw the wolf. But he was not frightened. He was a brave lamb. He replied politely, ''But Sir, you are wrong. The water is flowing from where you are standing to where I am standing. How can I make your water dirty?" The wolf did not find an answer. But he did not give up. He said, "Six months ago you called me stupid, now you have to say sorry."

The lamb replied politely again, "But Sir, I'm only three months old." The wolf had no answer and went away sadly.

        এসময়ত এখন নৈ ওচৰত থকা এখন ঘন হাবিত কুকুৰনেচীয়া বাঘ এটা বাস কৰিছিল।ওচৰৰ গাঁওৰ পৰা ভেড়া, ছাগলী আৰু গৰু পানী পান কৰিব আহে।

        কুকুৰনেচীয়া বাঘটো এলেহুৱা আৰু ধূৰ্ত আছিল। এদিন এটা গৰম দিনত, তাৰ পিয়াহ লাগিল সেই কাৰণে সি নৈত পানী পান কৰিব আহিছিল। তেতিয়া সি তলত দেখিলে ভেড়া পোৱালি এটাই নৈৰ পৰা পানী পান কৰি আছে। তাক দেখি কুকুৰনেচীয়া বাঘটো সুখী হ’ল আৰু ভেড়া পোৱালিটোক আহাৰ হিচাপে গ্ৰহণ কৰিব বিচাৰিল।

        তেতিয়া তাৰ মনত অসৎবুদ্ধি এটা আহিল। সি ভেড়া পোৱালিটোক ভই খোৱাব বিচাৰিল। সি চিঞৰি ভেড়া পোৱালিটোক কলে,” মূৰ্খ কিয় খোৱা পানী মলিয়ন কৰিছ? ভৰীখন পানীত নিদিয়াকে খাব নোৱাৰ?”  তেতিয়া ভেড়া পোৱালিটোৱে ওপৰলৈ চাই দেখিলে কুকুৰনেচীয়া বাঘটোক। কিন্তু সি ভই খোৱা নাই, সি সাহসী আছিল। সি নম্রভাৱে ক’লে,” মহোদয়, আপুনি ভুল, পানী খিনি আপুনাৰ ভৰি পৰা বৈ আহিছে। কেনেকৈ মই মলিয়ন কৰা হ’ল?” কুকুৰনেচীয়া বাঘটোৰ উত্তৰ নোহোৱা হ’ল. কিন্তু সি চেষ্টা এৰা নাই আৰু কলে ,” ছয় মাহৰ আগত তই মোক মূৰ্খ বুলি কৈছিলি, এতিয়া ক্ষমা খোজ।” তেতিয়া ভেড়া পোৱালিটোৱে নম্রভাৱে ক’লে,”মহোদয়, মই কেৱল তিনি মাহৰ হয়।“ এনেকে কোৱাত কুকুৰনেচীয়া বাঘটোৰ উত্তৰ নোহোৱা হ’ল আৰু দুঃখিতভাৱে আতৰি গ’ল।
