প্রায় মই বিস্মিত হওঁ

When I see and ponder                  

যেতিয়া মই দেখো আৰু ভাবো।

 

                    The grass is always green                 

                    ঘাহঁ সদায় সেউজীয়া হয়

                     And the wind is never seen.                    

                    আৰু বতাহ কেতিয়াও নেদেখি।

 

When the moon is not round              

যেতিয়া চন্দ্র গোল নহয়

The missing bit is not found               

হেৰোৱা পৰিমাণ পোৱা নাজায়

                            The clouds hang so high                 

                            মেঘ ওখত ওলমি আছে

                            Who fixes a rainbow in the sky.        

                            যিয়ে আকাশত এটা ৰামধেনু ঠিক কৰি দিয়ে।

How do the bird s learn                                 

চৰাইবোৰে কেনেকৈ শিখে                                  

                           To make a nest                 

                            বাহ তৈয়াৰ কৰিব

And the trees are standing           

আৰু গছবোৰ থিয় হৈ

                    Always at rest.                       

                     সদায় জিৰাই।
