A pronoun is a word used instead of a noun.

সৰ্বনাম হৈছে বিশেষ্যৰ সলনি ব্যৱহৃত শব্দ।

 

Example:

উদাহৰণ:

Rita is a beautiful girl. She is also very intelligent.

ৰীতা এগৰাকী ধুনীয়া ছোৱালী। তাইও বৰ বুদ্ধিমান।

(We have used she in place of Rita. So she is called a pronoun.)

(আমি ৰীতাৰ ঠাইত তাই ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিছো। গতিকে তাইক সৰ্বনাম বোলা হয়।)

1. Personal pronouns

১/ ব্যক্তিগত সৰ্বনাম

Personal Pronouns are those pronouns which stand for what are called the three persons in English grammar (first persons, second persons and third persons).

ব্যক্তিগত সৰ্বনাম হৈছে সেইবোৰ সৰ্বনাম যিবোৰ ইংৰাজী ব্যাকৰণত তিনিটা ব্যক্তি বুলি কোৱা (প্ৰথম ব্যক্তি, দ্বিতীয় ব্যক্তি আৰু তৃতীয় ব্যক্তি)ৰ বাবে থিয় দিয়ে।

2. Reflesive pronouns

২/ প্ৰতিফলিত সৰ্বনাম

When the subject or the object refers to the same person or thing, we use reflexive pronouns.

যেতিয়া বিষয়বস্তু বা বস্তুটোৱে একেজন ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুকে বুজায় তেতিয়া আমি প্ৰতিফলিত সৰ্বনাম ব্যৱহাৰ কৰো।

He-Himself ( তেওঁ-নিজকে )
