“Rome was not built in a day”


Ans: Nothing in life comes by using shortcuts. Similarly, the beautiful city “Rome was not built in a day.” It took years of effortless hardwork, patience, motivation and determination to slowly uphold the beauty of the city. It took many years but slowly Rome began to be one of the most loved and admirable cities in the whole world.


This proverb teaches us that we should avoid using shortcuts in life, and follow the traditional long approach to achieve the goal of our life. We need to face all the hardships, and difficulties in life and overcome them to achieve something truly great and admirable.


 


11) Write articles on the following topics.


i) Importance of exercise


Ans: Exercise is very important in one’s life. It’s the mantra of staying fit and avoiding long term, and life threatening diseases. There are many benefits of doing exercise for at least an hour every 5 days in a week.


Exercise helps in an efficient blood flow which leads to perfect mechanism of the heart and checks that proper oxygen is maintained in the body for daily activities. Another key element in exercising regularly is increase in muscle growth. Stronger muscles, joints and bones not only makes us look attractive but, also helps in maintaining the body during old age.


Hence, exercise plays a key role in everyone’s life and must be done regularly to attain maximum benefits.


 


ii) How to control global warming.


Ans: Global warming is the increase in the temperature of the Earth due to harmful gases which are called ‘greenhouse gases’ which are emitted because of the human activities. Increasing amount of Deforestation and pollutants like Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Chlorofluorocarbons, Fuels, etc. are the main factors leading to the climate change.


Firstly, deforestation must be immediately banned and be replaced with afforestation, to help grow more plants so that it can absorb most of the carbon dioxide. Secondly, all types of fuels, diesels must be replaced with Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) to reduce the increasing amount of other pollutants from smoke. Thirdly, we must start promoting eco-friendly lifestyle and products, starting from solar energy to e-bikes, and adapt the habit of recycling.


A healthy lifestyle must be adapted and these methods should be used in order to reduce the harmful gases leading to the climate change.
